Alan Franco is one of the most successful attacking players in football history. He was born on January 22, 1945, in New York City, United States. Franco began his career at the age of 18 with the New York Cosmos, where he played for two seasons before joining the USFCC in 1967. In his first season with the club, he scored 13 goals in 19 games.
In 1969, Franco moved to Italy and joined the Italian powerhouse AC Milan. During his time there,Saudi Pro League Focus he helped the team win the Serie A title in 1972-73 and the European Cup in 1974-75. Franco also won the Ballon d'Or award in 1973 as the best player in Europe.
